Hello everyone,
I have an HP Envy x360 15m-cn0011dx and last week started the common and unsolved problem with the mute being stuck. I couldn't find the solution anywhere.
But beyond that, the laptop is freezing a lot now. After a few seconds, I get a BSOD Watchdog error. Here's what I have done so far.
Updated the BIOS to the latest version;
Updated SSD firmware to the latest version;
Updated all drivers to the HP website;
Update all drivers using Microsoft update;
Replaced the SSD, fresh Windows install;
Replaced RAM;
Diagnostic for SSD, RAM (I don't have the option for processor and motherboard)
Also, I noticed right before freezing, the fan starts to spin like crazy, and the processor is frequently running at 50-60% of usage.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.

Hello everyone,
PROBLEM SOLVED. After replacing the motherboard ALL problems are gone.
I think this post as a whole will be a good troubleshooting tool for anyone having the same problem.
Thank you

I wanted to update you on information about this post.
The BSOD stops after disconnecting the trackpad and using a USB mouse. I have tried several drivers, but none fix the issue. I ordered a motherboard to replace thinking that I could solve the problem with the mute sound and the trackpad. Once I got the motherboard swapped I will update this post.
