HP ENVY x360 Laptop - 15m-ee0013dx
Microsoft Windows 11

The left hinge seized and broke through the screen when I opened it. I purchased this laptop 2 years ago. I read in several online forums that this has been an issue with these hinges. Does HP offer any warranty for this. I realize the standard warranty has expired. I'm quite disappointed. We have purchased multiple HP laptops and printers. I'm losing faith in HP with this issue.

Update; I called HP support this morning and the service associate, Casey asked what the issue is with my laptop, she patiently listened as I described the issue with the broken hinge and then offered to assist me in the purchase of a new HP laptop since my current one is out of warranty, REALLY! This machine is only 2 years old. I told Casey that I won't be purchasing any more HP products, (we have multiple) until the issue with my current laptop is resolved, she then gave me a phone # to contact HP tech support. I called that # and was informed that because the laptop is out of warranty I will have to subscribe to and pay for assistance. Is this how you treat your customers who have loyally purchased your products for business and home use?
