Hi, i wish to upgrade my Intel Dual Core T4300 to a better CPU and from 4GB RAM to 8GB RAM.
The motherboard is 3069 and the chipset GL40.
The question: Which CPUs and RAM Memories are compatible with my laptop?
Thanks :).

Hi, @na_fdez
For the memory, you are already at the max. See the Intel GL-40 chipset specs at the link below.
But the service manual states you can upgrade to 2 x 4 GB.
https://ark.intel.com/products/35501/Intel-82GL40-Graphics-and-Memory-Controller-Hub
The specs state you can install a processor with a maximum FSB of 667 MHz.
However, this link shows that folks are installing processors with 800 MHz FSB's.

If that is the case, below is the link to the service manual for your notebook's model series.
You might be able to upgrade to the T6600 processor if the GL-40 chipset supports processors that run at 800 Mhz.
It will not support any processor that has a 1066 MHz FSB, such as the P8700.

It seems to me that whatever you do, it will be a complete gamble on your part, because there is too much conflicting information.

Your machine is old, no available information around now. It has 4GB of RAM now. You can upgrade to 8GB using the following compatible RAM
