Can you upgrade the processor by changing the motherboard or in any simple way?
im trying to upgrade Intel® Core™ i5+ 8300H (2.3 GHz base frequency, up to 4 GHz with Intel® Turbo Boost Technology, 8 MB cache, 4 cores) to anything higher if possible but don't know if modern laptops don't allow to do this.
Trying to run more programs if possible. 🙂

Hi:
Notebooks from any PC manufacturer with Intel processors since the 5th generation Core processors came out, have been integral parts of the motherboard.
The only way to upgrade the processor would be to replace the motherboard with one listed in chapter 3 of your notebook's service manual that may come with a better processor.

What is your machine ? Normally for new computers you have to replace the whole system board including new Windows license.
Regards.
