hi i wish to add a secondary HDD in my  laptop. so please suggest the connector to be used for the upgrade

Chapter 1 of the service manual indicates that there is only support for one M.2 NVMe SSD.

No ports or parts exist to install a 2.5" drive.

 

If you need more storage you will have to replace the existing 512 GB NVMe SSD with one having a greater storage capacity.

I believe that connector you see in the video is not for a hard drive, but for the 64 GB eMMC flash drive that some of the 14s-fq1xxx notebooks come with.

 

There's no way I can help you install a hard drive in the PC when there are no parts listed in chapter 3 to install one...no cable, no mounting brackets...
