@Konul,

Service manual for your model (pages 2-3) indicates models that come with Intel Core processors support M.2 NVMe. Since your laptop has Intel Core i5, you can install an M.2 NVMe. What you need is an M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD gen 3.0x4 2280. You can get one from any reputable vendors. The manual shows up to 512 GB in size but you can install a 1 or 2 TB if you wish to.

HP 15 Laptop PC Maintenance and Service Guide.

After you install Windows on a new M.2 drive, you can use the current 2.5" hard drive as a data drive. Or you can get a large size of an NVMe and get rid of the HDD. Below is your model's specs.

Hi @Konul

Before buying the drive it is a good idea to check if the actual slot is available on the motherboard.

Sometimes in models that came without M2 drive, the actually slot is missing.

If the slot is there you can install an M2 PCIe NVMe SSD

If not present you can replace the HDD with a 2.5" SATA3 SSD

Hope it helps,

David
