I have recently purchase a HP Laptop 15-dw1023na and was planning to upgrade the RAM etc so I checked online and read that it had two RAM slots and an M.2 SSD slot but when I went to install the RAM there is in fact only one RAM slot and I am unable to locate the slot for the M.2 SSD. Has anyone else experience this issue before? Can this model of Laptop take an M.2 SSD? The laptop is incredibly slow and without the upgrades it will be of no use to me.

Hi:
Notebooks with the Intel® Celeron® N4020 processors have one memory slot, and the max memory the slot can support is 1 x 8 GB.
On notebooks with the Intel® Celeron® N4020, there are no M.2 slots.
If you want to upgrade to a SSD, you will need to replace the 2.5" mechanical hard drive with a 2.5" SATA SSD.
See chapter 1 of the service manual where that information is available.
