I need to be absolutely sure, because I'm going to buy this laptop, and if it can not increase the amount of RAM - well, you understand 🙂

guesswork and suspicion hardly work here 🙂

Paul, you're right that it's impossible to find official HP specs on these systems, but these specs seem pretty legit.

the_username, this has been discussed before here: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Hardware-and-Upgrade-Questions/Laptop-15t-fd000-Ram-upgrade-M... . The Official HP supported max RAM limit on these laptops is 16GB. Anything above that is outside of HP specs. HP Support will give you the same answer if you contact them. On the other hand, the customizable 15t-fd000 are sold with 64GB of RAM by Amazon, Newegg, etc. This means that 64GB works fine. If you want to go by the book, 16GB is what you can upgrade to....and you already have that.
