Hi,

I updated my bios version to F43 (update file sp114229.exe).

SHA-256 59fbd35c00c1d2596f9710b29dfb88be935de4d2328aaf33b9121887882552c6

But there are two versions, F34 seems to habe more fixes listed in the version history than the newer version F43?

The HP Support Assisant shows me F43 as system bios, but it want to upgrade the bios to "SoftPaq-Number sp114229 Version F.43"

Is the assistent wrong, or did I something wrong?

Hi,

The fixes are cumulative. So the older fixes (such as those listes for 34) will be in the newer BIOS which will also have aditional fixes. If you have installed F43 it is the newest version for your machine. If HP support assistant is still showing to install it (again), I would just ignore HP support assistant.

Hope it helps,

David
