Hello, my laptop battery charger one day randomly stopped working, I tried everything, I updated my BIOS, deleted and reinstalled my battery drivers, tried all troubleshooting options and found nothing helpful. I found on a post that holding the power button for 7 seconds makes the charger work again, which to my surprise it does work! but this is only a temporary fix. Does anyone know how to fix this issue, my laptop is 3 years old and has worked perfectly fine up until now, my laptop battery still holds a good amount of charge from the Windows battery report I generated. It doesn't seem like a hardware issue but more of a software issue, but I have updated and tried everything and I rather not spend $200-$300 since my laptop is out of warranty for them to just say it was a simple issue.
