Product: HP Pavilion 15

Hey everyone,
I’m facing a weird issue with my HP laptop Pavilion 15, running Windows 11. It only charges when the lid is closed. The moment I open the lid while it's plugged in, the charging stops, battery icon shows “plugged in, not charging” or sometimes doesn’t detect the charger at all.

But here’s the strange part, the laptop works totally fine otherwise. No performance drops, no overheating, BIOS is up to date, and I’ve tried different chargers too. Battery report looks normal. I even tried resetting the battery driver and checking for firmware updates.

Has anyone faced this before? Is this a hardware issue or some sort of weird power profile/BIOS setting I’m missing?
