I have been facing the issue for past 15-20 days. The issues are as follows
1. When I charge the battery , after reaching 55 or 60% , it stops, and starts after few seconds. Thus the process goes on and on till it is 100% charged or I switch off the charging. One thing to note is - At 60% ,it stops charging and charges again till 61% and then turn off charging - again - 62% and turn off.
I have attached the battery history , kindly see the weirdness as it shows battery charged till 121%.
Issue while charging
Goes till 121%
Charge capacity
After 2 yrs
2. The system turns off automatically after 30% or 40% without error or any notification. System get starts only after plugging the adapter. The low battery indicator is set to <12%.
3. Component test and extensive component shows, battery is OK.
Battery check

4. When I plug in charging, it shows time remaining 30-40 min, as % of battery increases, the time also increases eg at 81% battery it shows time remaining 1 hour something.
I have tried uninstalling driver from device manager, searching forums but the this issue has not been resolved. Kindly help!!!

@Mason_10 here's what you need to do:
If Windows suddenly shuts down without warning, it might be caused by one of several issues.
A BIOS update can also resolve the issue: click here for steps.
Follow the steps in this section, in order, to run a hardware test to identify any issues with the device:
Install the latest version of the HP Hardware diagnostics (UEFI) on your device using this link: Click here for details
- Hold the power button for at least five seconds to turn off the computer.
- Turn on the computer and immediately press Esc repeatedly, about once every second. When the menu appears, press the F2 key.
- On the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics (UEFI) main menu, click System Tests.
- Click Extensive Test.
- Click Run once, or Loop until error.
- While the test is running, the time remaining and test result for each component display on the screen.
If a component fails a test, write down the failure ID (24-digit code) for when you respond back to us.

@Riddle_Decipher I'll try and post the update. However I will have to keep the charging going.
Secondly, can I run the extensive test while working on the system as it will take minimum 4-5 hours?
Recently I have encountered one more issue, the charging stop at 88% and battery drains within an hour and when I charge again, it % jumps from 30% to 60-65%.
Kindly reply and after that I'll run the tests.

@Mason_10 The suggested tests are run outside windows, hence working on it during the test may not be an option, because that's when we can obtain the best results,
The test should identify issues within the battery or the adapter, and we can work on getting that fixed accordingly.

@Mason_10 if all the tests passed, this could only mean that the hardware is alright, there's an issue with the operating system,
I suggest you create a backup of all your data, and then, reset windows: click here for details.
Keep me posted.

@Riddle_Decipher I recently found new issue related to battery. Now whenever I charge the battery, it goes from 10% to 86% in one minute and charges till 100% within 10-15 min. And then after using it for 30 min , it suddenly drops to 10% again.
I am confused if this is a battery issue or software issue.
