Hi@hamzeh_96, @Dangerin,
Welcome to the HP Support Community! I'd like to help!
I see you are experiencing Battery issues with the HP Omen Notebook. It could be a hardware issue on the PC.
As we have limited support boundaries in the support community as of now. I would request you to contact our HP Support Engineers and should be able to sort this out. HP provides repair or service options for out of warranty products as well. Hence I encourage you to contact HP support for all warranty service options.
Please reach out to the HP Technical Support team in your region regarding the service/replacement options.
Follow the instructions below to reach them:
1) Click on this link - https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp
2) Select your product type below.
3) Enter the serial of your device.
4) Select the country from the drop-down.
5) Select the chat or get phone number options based on your preferences.
6) Fill the web form and proceed further.
If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.
For any hardware issue or repair please click on the link Phone Assist Worldwide
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
Please click “Accept as Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.
Click on the YES button to reply that the response was helpful and/or to say “Thank You”.
Have a great day!

No not fixed. I contacted support and completely no use. All tests return normal for adapter and battery so they will not send technician. They are saying to reset entire windows which I dont think is relevant to solve this issue. All my drivers and bios is up to date. So I dont know what to do even . This is so frustrating. Even playing a game like Valorant which uses little GPU my battery is discharging while on AC power. Completely pointless having a 200W adapter and not able to even support the laptop it is designed for.

i have the same problem, talked with hp, first they sent another 200w charger, didnt fix, went to hp, they changed the battery didnt fix the issue, went again to hp they changed battery, motherboard, charger plug, ssd, still nothing, idk what is the problem, and i dont think hp knows as well... its probably not a defect but a design error or smth

You might be right,
because a few days ago , hp technical team contacted me , and said that it is designed to be in that way .
but i don’t get it actually, because the battery has already lost five percent of its capacity in just two months,
and i use the laptop while plugged in most of the time.

Yes. When I play a game for a long time when I am plugged in, battery just keeps draining even below 70% And I have found no help from HP Support online so I dont even know what to do. Because just using the laptop the way it is designed when plugged in with a 200W brick should not keep draining battery until it becomes like 0. This is so messed up

Hi@Daniel_Mendes_,
Welcome to the HP Support Community! I'd like to help!
I see you are experiencing Battery issues with the Omen Notebook.
I have a few recommendations
- Update your Notebook computer to latest BIOS from HP.COM.
- Make sure the Windows and HP support assistant updates are up to date.
- For Testing and Calibrating the Battery please click this link
Try changing the power mode to "Balanced" or "Better Performance" as the default setting.
Go to "Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\Power Options" > "Change plan settings" > "Change advanced power settings"
Scroll down, click on "Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework Setting" > "Config TDP Level",
Then select the middle value for both "On Battery" and "Plugged In".
Scroll further down. Select "Processor power management";
Then select "Maximum processor state";
Change the value from 100% to 96% for both "On Battery" and "Plugged In" options.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
Please click “Accept as Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.

@Dilip_18
I cannot find the Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework Setting under advanced settings. Also arent these methods decrease the performance of the laptop? Why is the laptop discharging when it is being used the way it is intended to ? These methods will also affect performance and so shouldn't the adapter support the laptop even when being used in 100% state?
