Hi,

 

Yes, I believe you can, you would need to replace the cable from motherboard to screen and screen. You say the cable is FHD 144 Hz/UHD  40 pin  which is for two different screens one is FHD 144Hz and the other is UHD 60Hz.

 

It is going to be quite expensive.

Hi,

 

1. The display connector is a 30 pin connector. Your display is the 

 

part number L24374-001LCD RAW PANEL 15.6'INCH FHD 60Hz NB

and the display cable for this screen is FHD 60 Hz, 30 pin      part number L24382-001

2. Yes it will support an eGPU as it has a Thunderbolt 3 port.
