Hi,
My laptop cpu speed will not exceed its max base clock of 2.2ghz.
It was working fine 2 days ago but i foolishly was playing around with notebook fan control to try and cool my laptop down since i dont have omen command center ( because it didnt have comfort setting for my machine). While messing around with this it affected my battery reading (showing error in task bar). A reboot fixed the battery reading error but i still cant get it to turbo boost.
I did a system restore to before i installed the app so it reset my registry etc, however im still stuck at max 2.2ghz
I checked my power profiles and im using balanced with max process state at 100% but i seem to be power throttled as if the machine thinks im on battery saver mode.
Can anyone help me please?
Thanks

Which notebook fan control utility did you install?
The Omen Command Center softpaq is at the software and driver page {see the hyperlink below) look in Software solutions

It would help if you provided the complete product name or the product number.
See the description below this line to learn how to invoke the system information app in Windows and retrieve the product number. Post the product number in your next response to your thread.
