Omen 17-w100ne
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I purchased this laptop (Omen 17-w100ne) in 2016, and I have to say the build quality for a 2300$ item is very poor and disappointing. Till now I've had an expanding battery, some keys in the keyboard stopped working for no apparent reason, and now this.... Every time i manipulate the screen the left side pops up from its enclosure accompanied with a terrifying cracking noise. And the notebook is obviously no longer under warranty.

Moreover, after reading many posts about Omens and hinge problems, it is clear that this problem is due to a faulty design and HP should be held liable. [post edited]

Your assistance is highly appreciated...

Thanks.

Those issues are what warranty is for.
