I have been having issues where my PC will randomly reboot, shutting off for 3 seconds before turning back on to the home screen. No error message appears on my screen when this happens, but when I check my Event Viewer, I see this error message:
A fatal hardware error has occurred.
Reported by component: Processor Core
Error Source: Machine Check Exception
Error Type: Cache Hierarchy Error
Processor APIC ID: 0
I went to a local computer parts store in my area for a computer diagnostic. However, they were not able to recreate the reboot issue even after running the PC at maximum setting overnight, so they couldn't verify that it was a hardware issue. I also ran multiple hardware checks, but I am not getting any errors. I even ran an Extensive Test with HP PC Hardware Diagnostics (UEFI) and passed. I wanted to see if there were any other reasons that this could be happening.
Here are my computer specifications:
Processor AMD Ryzen 7 5800X 8-Core Processor 3.80 GHz
Installed RAM 16.0 GB (15.9 GB usable)
Device ID 1A1AF110-A13C-400A-8489-B55A22EF78E0
Product ID 00342-20853-89030-AAOEM
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

That is likely to be a graphics driver issue.
I suggest reinstalling the original driver as a starting point and then seeing if the issue still exists.
The driver download download portal is at the link below
