OMEN by HP 15-dc0004ng

Hi Guys, Unfortunately, charging the battery of my notebook HP Omen not works correctly. When the power pack is connected, the orange LED on the side of the Pc lights up, but the LED is still orange even after 12 hours.
When I turn on the PC with the AC adapter plugged in, I get the message: "The battery level is very low. Now connect the computer to the power supply". I can't work with the PC because the message keeps coming up about the low battery level and after a few minutes it switches off automatically. I had the similar issue a few days ago, but I was still able to run the HP battery test to the end. Result: "Primary battery: Normal". I hope someone knows this problem and can help me.

Is the power supply or the battery defective?

Or is it related to the charge control of the battery?

Driver or hardware problems?
Sorry for my bad englisch. Thank you in advance for your help.

Hey  @Jogi_Bär,

Thank you for your answer and the interest in helping me.

I have just wrote that I have done a battery test when was able to do it:

"I had the similar issue a few days ago, but I was still able to run the HP battery test to the end. Result: "Primary battery: Normal"."look picture (unfortunately the text is only in english)

bild - Kopie.jpgNow it is no longer possible to work with the PC and carry out a test because the message about the low battery level keeps coming up even though I have connected the power supply.

But why the notebook not starts, when I disconnect the battery and connect only the power supply?🤔

And the LED (color orange or blue) does not light up?🤔

Problems with the mainboard?🤔

Thank you!
