I'm having trouble connecting a pen to my HP Omnibook 7 laptop. Perhaps my HP 700 rechargeable multi pen isn't the right one. Which pen do I need? Thanks.

Hi @DaveAltDelete,
Thank you for responding.
I regret to hear that the issue is not resolved and you are unable pair the Pen to your Omnibook. I would request you to please follow the steps:
Reset the pen and re-pair it
- Disconnect the pen from Bluetooth (if paired).
- Press and hold the top button for 10 seconds to reset.
- Reconnect the pen via Bluetooth if your model supports it.
- Restart your laptop and test in HP App > MyPen
Update touch and pen drivers
- Visit: https://support.hp.com/in-en/drivers
- Download and install:
- Intel Integrated Sensor Hub Driver
- Intel Graphics Driver
- HP Pen Control App (if listed)
- Restart your laptop after installation.
Test in alternate apps
- Try using Microsoft OneNote or Whiteboard to confirm if the issue is app-specific.
Battery status unavailable – what to do
- Ensure the pen is fully charged using a USB-C cable and a direct wall outlet.
- Open HP App > MyPen and hold the stylus icon for 3 seconds again.
- If status remains unavailable, it may be due to firmware or app limitations.
Hope this helps, Please revert if the issue persists.
Have a good day.

None of the software suggested are listed on the drivers page, apart from the graphics driver. Also, there is no top button on the stylus. Is there another source for the software you listed? How else can I pair my stylus, besides tapping the screen? Thanks.
