Hi,
I've bought notebook HP Pavilion 15-bc502nc last month and I would like to upgrade RAM up to 16GB and SSD, because 128GB is not enough. The question is, if I won't lose warranty after doing it myself or in the other than HP service. In Maintenance and Service guide is written: "Memory Two SODIMM slots - customer non-accessible/non-upgradeable ." How would I proceed this upgrade? The second question is, if this model supports M.2 NVMe or only M.2 SATA...
Thank you for you help beforehand!

Hi,
Upgrading RAM and drives is an accepted practice and will not void the warranty unless you break something during the process.
Your notebook will support max 64GB of DDR4 2666MHz RAM (2x32GB) even if service manual mentions 16GB.
There are two slots and at the moment you have one 8GB module and one empty slot. So, you could add another 8GB module in the empty slot for a total of 16GB:
Example:

Yes the notebook supports M2 PCIe NVMe SSD such as the M2 Samsung 970 Evo Plus or similar. You can get of your desired capacity. No limit to capacity.
Service manual:

Hope it helps,
