I am planning to upgrade the RAM capacity but not able to find the maximum capacity supported by the laptop. I purchased it in Dec-2019.
Thanks in Advance

Thank you for posting on HP Support Community.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, After reading your post, I did go through the Product specifications of your product and found that you have 8 GB DDR4-2666 SDRAM (1 x 8 GB) installed on this PC. And your computer Supports up to 8 GB max system memory Click here to know more about storage refer to 2 Chapter 1 Product description.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

Hi,
I have already read the product specifications. My laptop has 2 RAM slots so max capacity is at least 16 GB as one slot already has 8 GB of RAM.
When I checks using WMI command, i got a value of 32 GB for the maximum capacity of the RAM. SO I know for sure that at least 32 GB is supported
BUT I asked this question as I found that there has been some changes in the model and now it can support up to 64 GB of RAM. I want to buy whatever is the maximum capacity and I wanted to know exactly what amount of RAM is supported so that i can purchase accordingly.

Thank you for posting back.
HP does not recommend to use parts which are not tested by HP and may not be accurate. However, you could change the configuration at your own discretion.

Hi
I don't know from what you got the indication that I am using or going to use any parts which are not not HP-recommended. I just laid out the queries I have which I want answered and nothing else.
And right now, it seems that I am not going to get the right answers here and I will have to go to HP service center to get the right specifications.
Thanks
