HP Pavilion - 15-cc008ur
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I got a laptop, but the scrolling does not work in the touchpad, and in general it's multitouch. The driver downloaded from the official site of the HP here, and also tried to download from the synaptic, but the dispatcher device is not defined. There are only two functions in the touchpad parameters, this is the left and right buttons and that's it. What to do? Is it a marriage?

Please help.

I also installed this driver but Windows 10 replaced it with an Elan driver. So install the Elan driver. And everything will work multitouch and other presses.

Let me take a moment to thank you for posting on the HP Support Forums. I came across your post and would like to help.

I understand that you have an HP Pavilion - 15-cc008ur laptop. I read that scrolling feature does not work. You've done a remarkable job performing the steps.

Let us uninstall the Synaptics software from the laptop. The please download and install the Synaptics touchpad drivers from this HP link. Please restart the laptop once the installation is complete.

If the issue persists then please refer to this HP troubleshooter guide to fix scrolling related issues.

I sincerely hope this fixes the issue.  Keep me posted. Cheers! 🙂

Hi. No it did not help. in the touchpad settings there is no choice of multitouch or scrolling. There are only two items to configure this right and left button and that's it.

Thanks for replying with the results.

I suggest you to perform a Windows refresh (repair). This should not delete your personal data. The Windows refresh will fix any corruption in the Windows operating system and the drivers.

NOTE: The steps in this link are for Win8 and can be used for Win10 too.

Hope this helps. Cheers! 🙂

I have the same situation, but all actions above didn't help me. On my laptop HP Pavilion cc-008ur Win 10 is installed and i installed latest version of Synaptics touchpad drivers from Drivers for hp pavilvion cc-008uractual version of driver.png

Many thanks, I installed Elan drivers and all gestures had  began to work. I download drivers from HP Pavilion 10-f100nf ELAN Touchpad Driver 15.2.4.3 Rev.B for.
