Hi,
I have an issue with upgrading the M.2 SSD in a HP Pavilion - 15-cc515nb. I replaced the old SSD with a Samsung 980 M.2.
When trying to install windows, The new SSD is not detected. I tried looking in the bios if the SSD is showing up but I cant find the advanced options (InsydeH20 bios).
I also tried installing Intel RST driver with no luck.
With another computer, I verified that the SSD is indeed working.
Any help will be appreciated.

Hi:
NVMe SSD's are not supported in the HP 15-cc5xx model series. SATA M.2 SSD's only.
That is the reason for your current dilemma.
See chapter 1 of the service manual for the supported drive types.
