Hello,

My Laptop display support bracket metal part is broken as a result I can't close or open the laptop screen. I want to know if the service center can repair it. If I can order the part I can fix on my own. I tried reaching customer care since warranty is expired in 2020 can't get more info about this. I searched for HP service store got one in hp service website, Phone number specified is out of service. Please help with info. Who can repair the broken screen in this case. LCD panel & Screen is working fine. Thanks

Hi Erico,

 

Thanks for sharing the parts link, In my laptop Right hinge is broken in to two pieces and brass screws along with plastic thread came off from the panel plastic base. Is there any suggestions to purchase the screen parts set (LCD screen is working though). If yes where can I buy the other OEM hardware parts which are not available in HP parts link ?. Please Advise.

Use HP + the part number as keywords to search online for a vendor in Google search or your favorite search engine. 

 

You can find the other parts that are in the illustrated parts catalogue section (Chapter 3, pg 23) of the Maintenance & Service guide.
