HP Pavilion - 15-cs3223ng

Dear Community

1. Why don't this model supports thunderbolt or even displayport on their USB C port?

According to Intel all 10th (starting from i5-1035G1 up to i7-1065G7) Generation CPUs have Thunderbolt 3 integrated

HP 15-cs3223ng Spec Sheet:

https://support.hp.com/my-en/document/c06502393

Intel 10th Gen Spec:

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/products/processors/core/i5-processors.html

2. Also Wifi 6 is integrated into this CPU. So why do you need to add an extra Wifi Adapter? In this case: Intel® Wireless-AC 9560

3. What happend to the german HP community page? Can't reach it anymore

I suggest you read the ARK Intel specs  for the processor one more time. It does have integrated graphics.

3. What happend to the german HP community page? Can't reach it anymore

The HP French and German communities were closed earlier this month and absorbed into the Global HP English community.

1. It should not need to be premium to have Displayport or thunderbolt. That's what those new 10th Gen CPUs are for and how they are advertised!

2. Well without trying to beeing rude. You should have read my provided links in first place instead of me reading ARK Intels Spec which i indeed already have.

Does that mean that you  personally feel you should have influence over how HP or another manufacturer give instructions or guidance to their employee engineers on how the products they  design and plan on marketing should be configured or designed?

Your statement seems to imply that just because Intel provided a possibility, that manufacturers should use all options available. Unfortunately, it really does not work that way in the real world. It all boils down to the bottom line and which price point tier a product falls into. Mainstream is mainstream and premium products are a different story. That is economics.

I did read the link you provided.  This was in the link and there is no mention of integrated wifi.

Intel® Wi-Fi 6 (Gig+) enabled PCs and wireless networks deliver a generational advance in Wi-Fi performance, traffic management, improved latency, interference avoidance and enhanced security for best-in-class5 connectivity.

First of all it seems like we started on he wrong foot. I have no intention to complain or force any decision how HP wants to handle their product. I just looking for informationen on a technical point of view.

There is nearly zero information on intels new line up although their abilities open up some real nice features.

GPU line up has shut down some cores in the past according to their product tier. But shutting down functionality of a CPU doesn't come into my mind and still feels odd. Why so? well HP could  use intels 10200u instead if they wanted to keep the gap between Pavillion and Envy/Spectre and save some money.

Also any article you can find on the web including intels statement cleary stated that WIFI 6 is INTEGRATED.

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/products/docs/processors/core/10th-gen-processors.html (another intel source although the first link already mentioned it TWO times)

So even on your economical point of view they could have save money by not adding an extra Wifi Adapter and just use the integrated ones which they have already paid for.
