Hi, I've had a HP Pavilion Aero 13 for a couple weeks and there's lots to like about it but I'm finding the battery life is terrible.
When it's fully charged, it has an estimated time remaining of just over 4 hours and I usually don't even get that. This is considerably less than the 10-11 hours that many online reviews are finding.
I have run all the different diagnostics in the HP Support Assistant and the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics and they report that my PC is fine with a battery status of "normal" or "passed".
I'm wondering if there is anything I can do to improve the battery life or if this is what other people are experiencing too?

Hello @jtrain2 .
The battery life you look at on the pages is under very very basic running conditions.
Typically they will average between 2 to 3 hours depending on what you are running or what actions you are performing, however do the following:
Plug in the AC adapter and check to see if the battery power LED is lit.
Let the battery charge for 15 to 30 minutes with the computer turned off and no devices connected to it such as external usb drives either USB sticks or cables.
Try to turn on the computer.
If the equipment starts: Run a battery test and calibrate the battery manually. For more information on how to calibrate the battery in the recommended way I have suggested, go to Battery Test and Calibration (Windows).
