Pavilion Aero 13
Microsoft Windows 11

Hello, I bough HP Aero 13 with Ryzen 5600U. I have been noticing that the charger is getting heated whenever I am charging my Laptop. Is it normal or should I be concerned?

@Mayank_Raj

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • Did this happen after a recent window or software update?
  • Did you make any changes to the settings of your PC prior to the issue?

To get the answer to this question, while charging, your hardware needs to operate at a higher rate to ensure performance levels are met. So, naturally, your AC adapter gets much hotter. Refer to the article: HP Notebook PCs - Using and troubleshooting the AC power adapter By the end of the article you will be able to fix the issue.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
