Well that's the page I linked to. The page checks your OS some kind of way, so if you manually select W10 it will pull up the drivers page with the bios update. This is the FTP file for the BIOS- https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp99001-99500/sp99036.exe

There is a bios update here- https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-pavilion-17-g100-notebook-pc-series/8499304/mode...

But they are an executable made to run in Windows. Don't know if they are extractable and can be run off a boot device or not.

When I go to your link, I get "We were unable to find drivers for your product."

Could this be because I'm running Linux or is it a problem with the link or hp website?

p.s. When supplied with the correct bios for Windows, I can get help from the Linux community on how to implement it with my Linux box.

Addendum:  When going here and selecting Windows 10, I believe that's what I'm looking for:  https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-pavilion-17-g100-notebook-pc-series/8499304/mode...
