Hi, Todd:

 

Unfortunately, I would not know the answer to your question and recommend you start a new post.

 

I would think that if the memory was no good, the notebook wouldn't even boot up.

 

Might just be a loose/broken cable from the motherboard to the display screen.

Or maybe the connector  on the motherboard for the display is bad  and that is why it won't work on the screen anyway at least I got the one working for only $25.00
