Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

Right now I have an HP Pavilion Dv6t-2000 with an Nvidia Geforce GT 230m. I want to upgrade the gpu, but I am not good with hardware. I saw the alternative of an egpu, and since my computer has an expresscard slot I was wondering if I could use it for this. My only concern is, will the expresscard slot be able to handle it? Thank you in advance.
