Hello! I have this problem, I own an HP Pavilion Gaming 15-dk0090ur, but the keyboard goes off after 15 seconds and I can't use it properly in the dark. I read the same thread about actions with drivers and nothing worked out, since I don't have Synaptics drivers, only Elan. My Bios version is F68, there is no option to switch the backlight. Please, help me find a solution.

We all have had that issue for years.

HP took that feature away about ten years ago.

Unfortunately, there is no light at the end of the tunnel for always-on backlighting on keyboard that have it.

No, I'm just shocked. If a multibillion-dollar company can't solve a problem that will take 1 working day for competent people to solve, doesn't that mean it's easier for me to turn off the touchpad and put a piece of meat for it so that the keyboard backlight doesn't turn off?! 😡

Getting mad about small things isn't going to make for a happy day..

Just tap the keyboard and the backlighting timer will start again.

You could always go to a BIOS forum and ask what can be done to change your BIOS to allow that feature.

Okay, then where can I find this bios forum?

Have you ever tried using the Google search engine?

I'm not surprised that you can't even answer that question. Good luck, I'd better switch to MSI.

type in the words "BIOS forum" into a search engine.

My previous suggestion of using Google search engine is a viable one.
