Microsoft Windows 11

My HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 15 is not charging well. First, I have to tilt the charger a certain way to get it to even charge. Then I can't use it while it's charging because the CPU drops down to 0.40ghz and it becomes really slow and unusable. There is nothing visibly wrong with the charger except for it being a little crooked. Is there anything I can do at home or really cheap before buying a new charger? Thanks!

Hello @mrsquidward

Sorry to hear that you are having problems ... I would like to help you.

This indicates damage to the charging socket. Even if you buy a new charger, it will not get better.

Do you have valid HP warranty ?
