HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop - Spacebar Backlit Not Working

I purchased TWO of these laptops.

1. Purple backlit - All keys are backlit including the spacebar.

2. White backlit - All keys are backlit except the spacebar.

Tech & Sales both said that the spacebar should be backlit and asked me to return the white backlit laptop.

Fast forward to today. I just received the new laptop in the ghost white option and again, the entire keyboard is lit up except the spacebar. 

This entire return, wait for it to be received and processed, refund to be issued, make an order with sales that has to pricematch my original price, and then wait for a custom laptop to be built and shipped is a ~40day process and praying that the keyboard is working correctly is becoming troublesome. The purple backlit laptop was a gift for someone and I do not have it to use while I wait.

I don't think the Space bar does have backlit. I've got some machines and all of them do not have backlit for Space Bar

That is what I was reading but then I checked out the purple backlit version that I had as a gift and it was in fact backlit. The ENTIRE keyboard was backlit, spacebar included.

Same model, same specs, only difference being ghost white vs uv purple.

hi i have same problem with this laptop, backlight spacebar is turned of wen in game, all keyboard is lightning without spacebar key, i send a message to assistance for solve the problem
