Hi,
There are few things I would like to say:
1. The machine does not have VGA port. It has
• 2 SuperSpeed USB 3.0
• 1 Universal Serial Bus (USB) 2.0
• 1 HDMI
• 1 RJ-45 (LAN)
• 1 Headphone-out/microphone-in combo jack
That HDMI port is for you to connect to an external BIGger monitor for you to enjoy games if you wish.
2. Not true, I connect to external monitors nearly all my laptops .
Playing games on a laptop can always cause "overheating", no matter what.
Regards.
