I'm a technician at a repair shop and my customers Pavilion Laptop, Model 15-ck075nr came in with a no power issue that we believed to be the battery. We replaced the battery and it did power on briefly and the operating system started but the battery indicator on the logon screen did not seem to indicate that it was charging. After approximately 5 minutes the laptop just abruptly shut down and lost power. I was able to restart it a few times and now it is dead. The jack is getting power so it's some type of circuitry issue on the board I believe.
Any insights would be appreciated. Thank you.

@JamesHutton73 It looks like the dc charger port on the laptop needs to be repaired as the adapter is indicating a charge, the battery worked shortly after it was replaced and yet it didn't seem to obtain the charge to continue working, and I suggest you talk to HP support and discuss your options, follow the below steps to get started:
1) Click on this link - http://www.hp.com/contacthp/
2) Click on Sign-in or select the product using the below step:
3) Enter the serial of your device.
4) Select the country from the drop-down.
5) Click on "Show Options".
Fill the web-form, to populate a case number and phone number for yourself!
Also, if you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty, if yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from,
