Sorry I got one more question.

Is there any memory limit for the SSD I will use? Can I use 500 GB or 1TB SSD with my current 1TB HDD.

I will place SSD in place of my current HDD. And HDD will be installed at the place of DVD drive with the help of a caddy. So I just want to know the memory limit for the SSD, if there is any.

Also, please suggest what I need to keep in mind while choosing a SSD for my laptop.

My Current HDD Specifications:

1 TB 5400 rpm SATA | Model : HGST HTS541010A9E680

@Sid0188,

There are no limits, it is more of a budget issue: the larger capacity SSD you buy, the more expensive it becomes.  Seems to me that if you need more than, say a 2TB SSD drive, you should consider working with an externally plugged in SSD (via a USB port).  And speaking of budget, you should take a look if one of the major SSD brands such as Samsung, Crucial, Silicon Power (SP), Western Digital (WD), PNY, SanDisk, etc. fall within your budget constraints.

I would pick at least a 1TB SSD.

Kind Regards,
