Hi Team - 

 

Hi -

 

I just recently bought my HP Pavilion Plus 14" laptop. 

 

Quick SPecs:

Operating system Windows 11 Home 64-bit Version: 23H2  [22631.2861]

Microprocessor 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-1335U

System memory 16 GB

 

The battery life is exceptionally short, lasting only about 5-6 hours on a full charge. The specified time on the specs page is more than 12 Hrs battery life!! The battery is draining quickly even with low brightness - which I keep at 37!!

 

At the same time, if the laptop is under sleep mode, the battery drainage should not be high - but I see that even on sleep mode it drains like 10% or more overnight.

 

Can you please provide a solution for this. Pls keep in mind I have kept the Power Setting mode as Balanced which is the most usual mode. So pls provide some concrete solutions and NOT some generic response. Or accept that the specs page lies and these laptops cant have 12+ hrs battery life!!!

 

Hoping you can help me before I return this item to hp.com
