I HAVE THE EXACT SAME MODEL AS YOURS, SAME SPECS AS WELL, YES THE PALM REST ON LOWER RIGHT SIDE DOES HEAT UP BUT I UNDERVOLTED THE CPU AND GPU NOW THE RIGHT PALM REST ONLY HEATS UP WHEN IM PLAYING GAMES OR WHEN THE CHARGER IS PLUGGED IN
