I purchased a Samsung SSD 860 Evo 1TB and created 2 partitions. 1. OS 155GB 2. Data remaining storage GB. I can’t seem to complete Win 10 install on OS partition. I get “error code: 0x8007045D” with “windows can’t install required files. Make sure all files required for installation are available “. I tested SSD with no partitions on this laptop by installing Ubuntu and it worked. So laptop can handle the 1TB SSD. I can’t seem to complete install of win10. Any suggestions?

Hello BH,
Thanks. I have reviewed that site previously and was not helpful. I am trying to install Win10 using a usb created using Rufus with a downloaded iso from Win media tool site. The usb install works cause I used it to install win10 on another PC with HD. I am only having issues when I try to install on my HP Pavilion dv6-7029WM. I have re-attempted the install about 5 times after I receive the error message about “requiring all files to install”. I only receive the error code on first attempt and only receive the errors messages after that.
thanks.
