question 

I have a HP Pavilion dv7- 4065dx wanted to processor upgrade and needs a bottom base but seems they run over 50.00 on eBay 

is there any other model that this will fit I already did the HP Pavilion dv7- 4000 series  it did come up with anything

 

mine says ZYE3ELX9TP103ARD207

 

will a base from HP DV7-6000    work?

You are at the mercy of the sellers. eBay is going to be as cheap as it gets.

 

Try finding a broken dv7-4000 laptop in eBay or Marketplace to salvage the required part from.

I remember when they was a dime a dozen (shows how old I am) now they are hard to find or out of China even costly on AliExpress
