My keyboard started cracking near my laptop's left hinge / power button area...it was hard to close, so I had to be very careful opening and and closing it. Now, the crack has got bigger and a tiny fragment has fallen out and I need to replace the keyboard cover. My laptop is over 2 years old. However, this also happened to be on my previous HP laptop (crack near hinge). How do I find the replacement part and how do I repair it? Or is it cheaper to buy a new laptop? Please advise, thanks! I am based in London, UK.

We need the full model or product number. The problem is bigger than the keyboard it needs replacement of the hinges and thorough inspection to catch all the broken parts.
