HP Pavilion x2 Detachable M/M: 10-n155sa - Product: POH64EA#ABU
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi guys,

I bought a HP Pavilion x2 Detachable M/M: 10-n155sa - Product Number: POH64EA#ABU on eBay. It was stated on the description that the Hard Drive is a SSD. I opened it and have found that the memory is on board. Can any of you confirm this and tell me what is the name of this type of memory please.

Thanks in advance

  • It has 32GB eMMC (not normal SSD) which is not upgradable,
  • It also has 2 GB DDR3L SDRAM (onboard), not upgradable.

Hello Banhien.

Wow, thank you very much for enlightening me. That saved me allot. I bought a 250GB SSD, it was actually for my big laptop that has a internal hardware issue, and it didnt allow me to install the OS, because the screen goes only one colour and just blocks. Anyhow, i then thought of putting it on the HP, as i was in formed by a HP Technician, that this model would accept a HDD to a max of 1TB and 5400RPM. I dont like disks, so i asked again on the YouTube how to video if i could then use a SSD instead of a HDD. No answer, so i opened the little one, to find out that all is onboard. This way i just return the laptop to the previous owner. His description was not correct and deceived me.

Though i have a Electronics Computers and Automation Teachnician L4 qualification, i been so tired that just could not remember what RAM ROM SDRAM NAND EMMC stands for anymore, i need a boost up. Im out of date anyway. Wasted tech lol.

Thank you once again, im very grateful for your reply.

All the best and keep enjoying life.
