Hello
So my question is simple. I want to know if its possible to upgrade the CPU on my Hp Pavilion X360 15-cr0037wm
I know that the CPU is soldered to the motherboard but is it possible to change the whole motherboard for one that has an i5 cpu? Will the laptop run with the new motherboard?
Thanks for your help
Xolo

Sorry you can't, CPU is soldered to the System board which contains
(a) Motherboard,
(b) CPU with integrated video,
(b) Video card (if applicable),
(c) Operating system.
All above 3 or 4 components are on one piece of hardware called System board. That means you can upgrade to other CPU (if available) but very expensive.
Regards.

There is a list of parts for system boards on page 46 of the following manual. Please do not use different part which is not on the list.
