Hi @BeanSprout9
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.
Upgrading your HP Pavilion x360 Convertible 11m-ap0xxx to improve efficiency is possible, but it depends on the specific hardware configuration of your laptop.
Here are some potential upgrades and optimizations:
1. Upgrade the Storage:
- If your laptop has a traditional HDD or a smaller SSD, upgrading to a larger and faster SSD (e.g., NVMe SSD) can significantly improve boot times and overall performance. Check your laptop's specifications or consult the user manual to confirm compatibility.
2. Upgrade the RAM:
- Depending on your model, the RAM might be upgradeable. Many HP Pavilion x360 models support up to 8GB or 16GB of RAM. However, some models have soldered RAM, which cannot be upgraded. Verify this by checking the user manual or contacting HP Support.
3. Update Drivers and Firmware:
- Ensure all drivers, especially for the graphics card, chipset, and storage, are up to date. Visit the HP Support website to download the latest drivers and firmware for your laptop.
4. Optimize Software:
- Uninstall unnecessary programs and disable startup applications to free up system resources.
- Use tools like Windows Disk Cleanup or third-party software to remove temporary files and optimize storage.
5. Adjust Power Settings:
- Switch to a high-performance power plan in Settings > System > Power & Sleep > Additional Power Settings to maximize performance.

Hello,
I bought this computer in 2020, I don't have the manual. How can I go about finding it? I also don't have the greatest luck with tech support either they don't know, or I always get hung up on. I wish there was a real chat

Hi, I found the manual eventually but the manual doesn't specify if the laptop is upgradeable or if the RAM is soldered or not? So, I just need someone at HP to answer my one question. Is this laptop upgradeable or not?

The memory is not upgradeable, but the PCIe M.2 2280 SSD can be upgraded to one with more storage capacity.
