I want to upgrade my laptop storage from 128gb ssd to 1tb M.2 SSD PCIe NVMe 3200mb/s 1700mb/s.
I want to upgrade the ram to be 16gb instead of 12gb.
I have the last edition of 2018 cd0xxx serie. now it has M.2 SSD SATA 128gb and want to use PCIe NVMe SSD model>
The manual isn't clear about this because it says it is compatible with PCIe and SATA but I don't know if every model in this serir ias different than the other.

Hi,
Yes, you can install a PCIe NVMe M2 SSD. It supports both SATA3 and PCIe NVMe and the capacity can be larger than mentioned in service manual.
Yes 16GB will work in the notebook DDR4 2400Mhz. HP DDR4 systems will run with 32GB of RAM, so that would be the actual max.
Let me know if you need further help,
David
