Anyone else have a problem with the display hinges on the HP Pavilion x360 coming apart ? With my laptop, the lcd screen detached from the back lid without getting dropped or mishandled in anyway . Laptop stays put in one place actually. Simply used it one day and the next day when I opened it, it let out a horrible creaking sound. The display had come apart and was ‘drooping’ on one side. A few days later (with me not using it) the screen has gone black but displays on an external monitor. For reference I bought slightly over a year ago ( so I’m out of warranty). Laptop has had issues from the go. First it was the wireless/Wifi hardware two weeks after I bought. HP support wanted me to part with cash to get it fixed. I refused because laptop was just out of the shop. Contacted HQ and they fixed it after chasing them down for weeks. Now this has happened and I am tired! Same issue with HP Envy laptops from different threads and forums. Why the flimsy machines? For the amount I spent on this product, I expected it to work without issues for a long time. Highly disappointed and advising anyone I know not to invest in HP laptops. Would definitely want to fix though as I’m not about to invest in another laptop. Will HP help or should I just find someone else to do it?
