I have a Pavillion Laptop and based on customer service advice bought a USB-C Dock 5G. Got the Dock and plugged in monitors, HDMI and Digital, and several USB attachments, camera, MyPassport drives, etc. Seems like almost nothing works. I've tried the monitor I was previously using plugged in directly to the computer HDMI via the Dock with HDMI and Digital, neither works, I see that the unit is running off of battery and the Dock is not charging the battery. It seems to recognize the other drive and has a sense there may be a monitor there as an initial message on plug in noted that monitor may not work properly, but generally running a detection doesn't show a monitor. Any suggestions? Any help would be most appreciated. I tried the Shut Down, unplug Dock, do a computer reset (power, F6 hold down) followed by reboot, plug in Dock, etc. Didn't work. Updated all drivers and Bios. Reset the Dock. Nothing worked.

What is your HP Pavilion Laptop 15-cs3xxx ? For example
Your machine should have SAME ports on the above machine. You should be able to get all other ports EXCEPT external monitor(s) and charger because USB-C G5 dock is NOT compatible with your machine.
Regards.

Is there a docking station/hub that works with this, that gives me two video monitor access, either 2 hdmi or an hdmi and a digital video attachment as well as 4 USB ports and laptop charging?
