Hi. I'm thinking of buying an HP ProBook 470 G9 laptop (Intel Core i5 1235U, Intel Iris Xe Graphics).
Does it work well on linux? (Ubuntu, in particular.) Are the fans loud?
Thanks,

The 470 G9 comes with windows 11 or FreeDos. That laptop has no support for Liinux here at HP
That being said, it is likely that Ubuntu will run on it

I suspect that the Win11 HP software contains tools to adjust fan speed. Probably not as good as the Omen gaming hub but likely to have fan and battery tools specific to that laptop. These tools might be missing or incomplete in Ubuntu.
