Hello,

is it possible to replace original 500 GB hdd with 1 TB hdd in ProBook 6560b?

I would like to use this hdd: Hitachi Travelstar 7K1000 1TB, 2,5", SATA/600, 7200RPM, 32MB, HTS721010A9E630

Manual says maximum hdd capacity is 500 GB......

As per the manual : 

 

Hard drive
750-GB, 7200-rpm 633252-001
500-GB, 7200-rpm, for use in either the hard drive bay or the upgrade drive bay 634919-001
320-GB, 7200-rpm, Self-Encrypting Drive (SED) 626978-001
320-GB, 7200-rpm 641672-001

128-GB solid-state drive 649651-001
