HP Pro Book 450 G3
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hallo habe ProBook 450 G3 mit i 7 Prozessor .

Möchte Ram von 8 GB verbaut ist

8GB  Hynix/Hyundai 2133MHz

Hello have ProBook 450 G3 with i 7 processor. Would like Ram of 8 GB is installed 8GB Hynix / Hyundai 2133MHz System board: upgrade 8101 KBC 40.03 version. Is it possible to combine 16 Ram + 8 Ram = 24 Ram and does that make sense? This would be the 16 Ram bar https: //notebook-laden.de/produkt/16gb-notebook-ram-speicher-sodimm-ddr4-pc4-17000-2133mhz-260-pin :: ... I would also like to upgrade to 2 TB with this HDD hard drive Notebook hard drive 2TB, 5400rpm, 128MB for HEWLETT PACKARD ProBook 450 G3. Would that work without a loss of performance?

Bitte auf Englisch.

Memory: the Manual says 16 gb is the maximum but it would run 32 gigs or a pair of 16 gb DDR4-2133 SO-DIMM. You could add a 16 to the existing 8 and have 24 but in many cases it will run better/faster if you add another 8 gb module to have 16 gb total. The reason is the dual channel effect which is only possible with 2 modules of the same capacity and speed.

You can install a 2 TB hard drive without loss of power. You might consider a solid state drive, which will perform much better.

Hi:

According to the Crucial memory report for your notebook, the max memory supported is 2 x 8 GB.

Memory RAM & SSD Upgrades | hp - compaq | probook | ProBook 450 G3 (DDR4) | Crucial.com

Chapter 1 of the service manual indicates the same...2 x 8 GB.

HP ProBook 450 G3 Notebook PC Maintenance and Service Guide

What I suggest you do is this...run this command, and see what Windows reports would be the maximum memory supported.

1. On the search box, search for cmd and click Run as administrator. This will open the command prompt utility.

2. Once command prompt is opened, type wmic memphysical get maxcapacity and hit enter. There, it will show the maximum RAM capacity your notebook's motherboard can support.

If the motherboard supports 32 GB of memory, the number should be 33554432.

If the report does show 33554432, since both Crucial and HP indicate that 2 x 8 GB is the max, it will still be a gamble on your part to install a 16 GB memory chip.

If you want to experiment, this would be a compatible memory chip if your notebook supports 32 GB of memory.

Crucial 16GB DDR4-2400 SODIMM | CT16G4SFD824A | Crucial DE

If the report shows less than 33554432, then you will definitely not be able to install a 16 GB memory chip.

Vielen lieben Dank vorab.

Also es zeigt Nummer 33554432 an .

HP Recommended

Yes I was sure it would take 32 gigs. Intel Core 6th gen and above units using DDR4 generally do. How much memory you need depends on what you do. For most people 16 gb is more than plenty. If you edit video, compile Code or do other memory intensive tasks the difference between 24 gigs single channel and 32 with dual channel will be significant and likely worth 80 Euros.

Was geht?

Verbaut ist

8GB  Hynix/Hyundai 2133MHz
Systemplatine : 8101 KBC  40.03 Version

You're very welcome.

The memory would be DDR4

You can use the free utility that I zipped up and attached below and it will show you the type and speed of the installed memory.

DDR4-2133 memory is hard to find, so buy the DDR4-2400 memory and it will automatically bridge to 2133 Mhz.

HP Recommended

Sicher es it DDR4. Nur Pentium and Celeron Prozesors benutzen DDR3.
